The meaning behind our name originates from us combining two important meanings into one word: Italia (Italy) and Amore (love). This is why our motto is ‘Food made with love tastes better’.

We come from a country where food is everything, where asking ‘did you eat?’ is like saying ‘I love you’. Where eating is not only consuming food, but also a ritual, it’s a family gathering around a table every day for lunch, it’s the laughs, it’s grandma cooking Bolognese sauce for three hours on a Sunday morning for her grandchildren coming for lunch.
